The Williamson Farms Social Committee is excited to share everything you need to know for this year’s Independence Day Celebration! Please review the information below and help us make this a fun and safe event for everyone.
Please Help Protect Our Fireworks Show
Our fireworks display is professionally permitted and conducted by ARC Pyrotechnics. For everyone’s safety, please do not light personal fireworks in the vicinity of the clubhouse and pond area. Fireworks near the display could cause the professional fireworks show to be delayed or shut down.
Event Schedule
•Pool Open: 11 AM to 9 PM
• Food Trucks Begin Serving: 4 PM
• Free Face Painting (Clubhouse): 5 PM to 8 PM sponsored by Southwest Shingles
• Music by DJ Rodney Ladd: 6 PM
• Bounce House: 6 PM provided by SV Inflatables
• Parade Lineup: 7:15 PM
• Parade Begins: 7:30 PM
• Fireworks: Approximately 9:45 PM
Southwest Shingles will also be passing out free t-shirts in the clubhouse while supplies last!
Food Vendors
Food Trucks will open at 4pm {until sold out} in the clubhouse parking lot.

Parade Information
ALL entries are welcome! Whether you’re decorating your golf cart, bike, wagon, or walking with flair, we want to see your red, white, and blue! 
The parade will be judged, with prizes for Top Adult Entry and Top Kid Entry based on patriotic spirit, creativity, effort, theme execution, and audience engagement!
Lineup will begin at the corner of 124th and Horsepen at 7:15pm. The parade will begin at 7:30pm heading south down Horsepen, looping around the square, and ending back at the clubhouse. No registration needed, just show up! Feel free to throw candy if you’d like!
ALL traffic around the square will be blocked off for the duration of the parade for everyone’s safety.
Saturday Parking Information
All day Saturday- PLEASE DO NOT PARK in the clubhouse parking lot or on the inside curb around the entire square.
Beginning at 4pm, NO THRU TRAFFIC will be allowed around the square. Please use Lexington or Smithfield as your detour. Residents that live around the square, Preakness & 123rd will be partially open for your use.
Beginning at 7:15pm through the duration of the parde, NO TRAFFIC will be allowed around the square. (7:15pm- approx 8pm)
•Encourage your guests to carpool when possible.
•Need extra parking? The South Lakes Soccer Complex has generously opened their parking lot for our event. Please use extra caution when crossing Meridan after dark and be mindful of any construction materials in their parking lot.
•Please limit golf carts to licensed drivers only due to the extra foot traffic and roadblocks.
•Please use extra caution & keep speeds lower than normal throughout the entire neighborhood!
